Laval Castle and the Mayenne
Laval is twinned with Boston in the UK. The two towns attitude and approach to the EU are polar opposites. Laval using EU funding to build a technology park to attract in new industries as their traditional linen manufacture declined. The town is dominated by the Mayenne river. I was there in a very cold January which provided me with some wonderful light.
