Lazarillo Del Tormes. Salamanca, Spain
Whilst I was in Salamanca a friend contacted me to say look for the statue of Lazarillo. It is amazing how travel broadens the mind and educates. Had I not visited Salamanca I would have no knowledge of the 16th century novel “The Life of Lazarillo de Tormes and of His Fortunes and Adversities.” it’s literary importance and the link with Salamanca. Freedom to travel is enlightening in so many ways but only realised when that right can be exercised.
